Joana Resende is an assistant professor of Economics and a research associate of Cef.UP (University of Porto, Portugal). She holds a PhD in Economics and Management Science from the Université Catholique de Louvain. Her research interests are related to optimal pricing strategies in digital markets. She is particularly interested in studying personalized pricing strategies and understanding the pricing dynamics in markets with network effects. She has published her research in several academic journals such as Marketing Science, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory or Information, Economics and Policy.
