Second, I think that it is a very risky business to invest your money in. These new technologies are still immature, even though they are very promising. In my opinion, what is needed now is (1) more research being done on the added value of those classes and how to improve their learning outcomes and (2) understand how they could enter the classroom and how to encourage their adoption by teachers/professors.
Why not a pure public-financed free-access model, for example at the EU level?
